From the past 8 Batches of Internship and Apprenticeship, we’ve seen how powerful it is when the Body of Christ truly functions as one body. From the very beginning, it is evident that God already touched people’s heart to respond to the call of being a missionary, but at the same time, God already prepared those people who will be instrumental to financially send them in the mission field.
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. ” Philippians 1:3-4
We are functioning and must function in accordance to the gifts and abilities that God has given us. Knowing this, we want to take this opportunity to feature some of our trainees for everyone to know their story and their vision as a missionary. These people have surrendered their lives to God with a full knowledge of the cost they have to pay, the weight of the sacrifice they have to render, but still they said yes.
It is their greater honor to serve the Lord than to pursue their own dreams!
“For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.” Romans 14:8

This is the Panaligan family from Ilo-Ilo Philippines, our first ever missionary family on training. By profession, Doc Ken is a medical surgeon while Doc Louvel is a pediatrician.
They first came to Thailand almost 3 years ago for a short-term mission exposure trip and to join Ablaze Mission Conference. God has been awakening and confirming the call of God in their lives.
As a step of action, their family decided to joined our Internship Program Batch 5. It was their first step in pursuing their missionary call as a family. More than a training, it became an historic moment when God spoke to them clearly of a Vision that God is putting in their heart which is related to health & wellness that will be instrumental to evangelize unreached communities but also to train locals to become missionaries.
Last October 2019, they took the second step by joining the Apprenticeship Program Batch 8. The Apprenticeship Program is a training for individuals or family who are pursuing long-term missions (FULL-TIME MINISTRY).
They decided to say yes to God though they seemed to have a promising life already. For them, there is nothing greater than to know God and to fulfill His will over their lives.
It may not be your time & season to be a full-time missionary now, but it cannot hinder you from being an important part of the great commission’s fulfillment. There are a lot of people who have already responded to the call of God. They are willing to do what God has called them to do and they are ready to go to where God wants them to go. However, many people just like their family are somehow hindered simply because their churches cannot fully provide their full financial budget knowing that most of them are coming from third world nations.
PROJECT 2020
We just recently started this Project 2020. It is focused on 20 people & $20. One of the project is to look for 20 person who will partner $20 to fulfill the $400 support for their family which will be allocated for their food, accommodation & ministry expenses. Their mission training will end in 10 months.
Your 10 months partnership will surely make a difference in their life!
Your financial support can help, not just in fulfilling their calling, but more importantly, fulfilling the heart of God for the nations.
I want to give $20
” I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. ” Philippians 1:3-5
” You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11
